June 2012
I have an original early 1950's dealers catalog that I'll be posting here, I say that keeping in mind these catalogs were distributed, then as the years went by, new pieces became available and old pieces were discontinued, so catalog pages were added and deleted accordingly.
It appears the catalog (in a blue leatherette 6 ring binder) is one from the first edition with excellent photography - 72 pages complete, started in the early 1950's and that it runs right through the Vistarama and Epic lines with newer additional pages.
I'll be posting all 72 pages of the original catalog plus dozens of pages sent subsequent to the original, here at CornFlowerGlass.com for reference.
I'll also be posting more Company documents that are an interesting read for collectors, including company correspondence and catalog pages on Milkglass, Perfume Bottles, Olympia lead crystal, Snow Flower, a line of Sandblasted stemware and much more.
This may take some time to complete but please check back often as this material is a rare find and very interesting.
I hope fellow collectors find this reference material as excellent a resource as I've found it to be.
This will probably take a few months but should prove to be worth the wait...
The documents seen on these pages have been reproduced from originals that were formerly the property of Noll Jewelery, Palmerston Ontario, a retailer of Hughes' glassware.
I purchased the documents and I'm posting them here strictly for reference purposes and as an aid to collectors.
To the best of my knowledge any company trademarks displayed here (such as the one in the header of this page) are "inactivated" at CIPO - they are only displayed here for the purposes stated above.
All Trademarks still registered have been removed from the documents.
Please do not reproduce these pages.
